For this year's concentration, I am going to be concentrating on expressions. As an aspiring animator, expressions are some of the most important tools I can use to convey feelings and emotions in a sequential story. I find them so incredibly interesting; and honestly, I have a lot of fun doing them :) I think that expressions are absolutely key to successfully conveying emotion to an audience. This is why they are so important. These first three pieces are just start-ups, for I was really busy this month with the late start, Winterfest, and applying to colleges (RISD specifically, woohoo!). I plan to clean up the lines in the future and coloring them in photoshop. My entire concentration will be made completely in photoshop. It will also be made with a similar color scheme and style in each artwork to ensure consistency throughout.
